My review:
If you are a lover of people with supernatural abilities this is the book for you. I started this book and couldn't put it down. It reminded me so much of if the X-men comics were made into a novel. I loved everything about this book. This book starts out with us meeting Zoe who we know is different. She ends up at what she learns is a hospital to help people with special abilities learn how to control them. Zoe meets a cool group if friends with a range of abillities from necromancing, telekinesis, and psychokinesis and more. Zoe learns that she is in fact a princess and very powerful. As events unfold Zoe learns more about herself and a world she knew nothing about. She learns about the issues in her world with race issues between the different supernatural races. The current king doesn't want anhy mixing of the races. Zoe learns of Icarus. He is so sweet, protective, and loveable. I fell so in love with him as soon as Zoe did. He wasn't like the typcial male character in that he wasn't clingly or stalkery. He was willing to even let her go if he had too. Zoe and her friends enter into battles to make their world better. I loved that the author managed to talk about race issues in an enlightening way through this story. She brought up a lot of the issues that are present in modern day time. Overall this book has it all with the supernatural abilites, battles, romance, and even the amazing message to be learned. I highly recommend this book to others.
